Lionel J-36 Bug

This particular key was given to me as a gift by my father, K5PEV sometime in the 1980's. At first I didn't use it very much, preferring a HiMound coffin bug that was sold by Lafayette. In 2003 I took the bug out of storage and disassembled and cleaned it up. Here are the pictures after the cleaning:

Note that the bug is missing the plastic label. I have the label, but it is all curled up, as is typical for this particular model. Note also that the bug is missing the knob that normally goes on the finger (dah) side of the paddle. One of these days I'll run across a replacement. Other than that the bug is in good working condition and I use it regularly on the air.
